Through an official statement Qualcomm (04/06) in Taiwan, one of the newest edition of the Snapdragon processor 400 is mentioned for the first time the device-based versions of Microsoft’s operating system Windows Phone 8 (WP8) will be able use it.
WP8 is capable of supporting “multi-core” access though only generally equivalent to the ability of Dual Core phones. Compared to the majority of platforms such as Android, of course, wp8 is still left behind as the ability to achieve truly Quad Core support, collaboration and even dual Quad Core processor generating capability “Octa Core” in a single device.
In short Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 is later known as the Quad Core Cortex-A7 1.2 GHz speed that will give full support 42Mbps wireless specifications including HSPA +, LTE and TD-SCDMA, as well as the 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, FM, and NFC. Not just intended for WP8 devices, the processor can be used on the Android platform, the processor will also embedded in the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini soon to be launched this year.
