GITEX Conference held in Dubai provides an opportunity for Co-CEO of RIM, Jim Balsillie to launch a new social service sharing called “BlackBerry Tag“. NFC-based platform will help users to connect and share content information with other as well as other BlackBerry users.
Incorporated with the BlackBerry operating system 7, the BlackBerry service Tag will provide an easy way for owners of BlackBerry Curve and Bold smartphones to share contacts, documents, website links, photos and other media content by simply pressing buttons on their smartphone share.
This service is also integrated with BlackBerry Messenger, which allows users to add each other on the messaging service. Obviously, only the latest BlackBerry smartphone users can enjoy this service. Tags features support new BlackBerry smartphones, like the BlackBerry Bold and BlackBerry Curve 9350/9360/9370 9900/9930.
In addition to being innovative, BlackBerry Tag is immediate and can be fun. For example, by touching the screen at the same time two users can share a contact of the popular messaging application BlackBerry Messenger.
